National City, located just a few short minutes from downtown San Diego, acts as a major backdrop and source of inspiration for these 3 artists who call National City home.
This 3 person exhibition combine's street art, graffiti, stencil art, sticker art, and graphic design. For part 2 of Nasty City, the artists have also collaborated on art works, conjoining and overlapping their individual styles, creating layers of images and ideas reflective of the Nasty City experience. £¥£G∆†O conceived 2009 in So Cal by play on words and reincarnated in the Bay Area in 2013. His artwork consists of mix media from recycled and found objects. £¥£G∆†O is influence by the cosmic energy of the Ying and Yang and he is striking to deliver this message on his latest show entitled DU∆LI†I£S.
Don't Trip is a prolific artist and party machine. His first solo exhibition will be held August 23rd, 2014 at VISUAL in San Diego, California.
Although the artist paints his iconic characters in various illegal "spots", this collection of work will focus mainly on canvas and mixed media works. The exhibition will consist of his classic bright orange characters and floating heads, sporting stoner smiles and peace signs. The title "No Worries" suggests the artists extreme positive mental attitude that he promotes and lives by on a daily basis. No worries is a mantra that symbolizes pure positivity, enthusiasm for life and celebrates the art of Don' Trip. |
